Rádi bychom Vás pozvali na první přednášku projektu Medicína jako věda v akademickém roce 2018/2019. Tento ročník projektu otevře přednáška zástupce přednostky Kliniky anesteziologie a intenzivní medicíny Univerzitní nemocnice TU v Drážďanech, Prof. Marcelo Gama de Abreu, DESA.
Pan profesor je držitelem Diplomu Evropské společnosti pro anesteziologii a je aktivním členem řady dalších profesionálních organizací, včetně Evropské společnosti intenzivní medicíny, Společnost kritické medicíny (Society of Critical Care Medicine) a Německé společnosti anesteziologie a intenzivní péče.
Prof. de Abreu je autorem nebo spoluautorem více než 180 odborných publikací, dále je autorem řady patentů v oblasti respirace a mechanické ventilace.
Přednáška s názvem “Physiology and evidence based medicine: challenging paradigms in medical research” se bude konat 3. října od 18:00 v Syllabově posluchárně. Přednáška bude v anglickém jazyce.

We would like to invite you to the first lecture of the project Medicine as a Science in the academic year 2018/2019. The opening lecture of this academic year will be held by the vice-head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the Carl Gustav Carus University Hospital (TU Dresden), Prof. Marcelo Gama de Abreu, DESA.
Professor de Abreu is a Diplomate of the European Society of Anaesthesiology and an active member of many other professional societies, including the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine, Society of Critical Care Medicine, and German Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care.
Apart from being the author or co-author of more than 180 publications, he is also the author of several patents in the field of respiration and mechanical ventilation.
The title of his lecture is “Physiology and evidence based medicine: challenging paradigms in medical research”. The lecture will take place on Wednesday 3rd October at 6:00 p.m. in the Syllaba´s lecture hall and will be held in English.
