We would like to invite you to the next Medicine as a Science lecture. This time, you will hear from the Chief Strategy Officer of the European Heart Agency and former President of the European Society of Cardiology and the European Heart Rhythm Association, Prof. Panos Vardas, FESC, FACC.
After completing his medical education at the Athens University Medical School, he started working at the Cardiology Department of the Westminster Hospital in London, where he further specialised in Clinical Electrophysiology, Pacing and Interventional Cardiology. Since then, he has participated as an author in a considerable number of scientific publications. During his career, Prof. Vardas has held several significant scientific positions in many national and international cardiological societies.
His lecture, titled Atrial fibrillation: from pathophysiology to modern treatment, will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 5:30 PM in Syllaba’s lecture hall.
